I can't believe it is June already. Where has the year gone? So, here in the US June marks the start of summer, and of course, the dreaded hurricane season.   Did you know that people are still trying to recover from the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina? Do you realize that it was now 5 years ago when that storm ravaged the coast of Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama? 

Time does fly, doesn't it?  But I suspect time is dragging for some people who are still displaced and who still need assistance post-Katrina to return to their homes.

I am lucky that I get to work with many non profit organizations. One of the organizations I have been fortunate anough to work with for the past 18 months is the Mississippi Case Management Consortium (MC-MC).  I created and manage their main website www.mc-mc.org and the website for the Adopt A Katrina Family Project www.adoptakatrinafamily.org.  Take a look at the Adopt a Katrina Family websit - maybe you can help someone finally make it home.

May was another busy month for Wolf Valley.  We sent 2 new sites live, and updated some existing sites as well.  Brand new sites for Complete Home Exteriors, and DREAM, Inc both went live last month.  When the staff at DREAM first saw their new site live, we actually received a chorus of screaming and cheering!  We're used to our clients being happy, but it was the first time a bunch of people have literally "screamed".  We're pleased to have made such an impact!

Developing Resources for Education in America (DREAM Inc.)

DREAM's mission is to prevent youth substance abuse and promote healthy life styles through developing and providing effective products and services for schools, communities, and businesses.

When DREAM first came to Wolf Valley for assistance with their website they had problems with their site that were hampering their productivity. Areas of the old site were not operational and needed to be resolved quickly.  We developed an in depth proposal that covered all their needs and desires for their site.  

The new site now offers everything DREAM staff asked for - and in fact, more!  When they first saw their new site on-line- they called us and actually, (literally) screamed with delight into the phone.  We're pretty sure we heard them jumping up and down, too! We always have happy clients, but a screaming chorus of joyful people was definitely a first.

Complete Home Exteriors is a Jackson Mississippi based company that is family owned and operated by a father, son and sister team. Their background includes many years of construction management and interior design experience.  Their goal: to provide you with the best customer service and highest satisfaction with all of their services.  Striving to grow their business by Exceeding Expectations Always!

Their old website was not an accurate reflection of the quality and professionalisim of the company.  The new site needed to be crisp, clean and show the typs of work they provide for their clients - as well as project their professional work ethic.

June is set to be so busy, we really don't have time to write about it.  Time now, in fact, to get back to work!
